IOMEGA Automatic Backup Software

If you are currently using IOMEGA's Automatic Backup Software, you should be aware that they no longer support this product. We highly recommend that you make the switch to SyncBack or a similar program for your automatic backups. Please contact us now so we can help you with making the switch. (The IOMEGA software will continue to work, but we recommend against utilizing unsupported software for something as important as backing up your critical data.)

Update Your BSafe

If you haven't updated your BSafe software recently, you should strongly consider uninstalling your current version and downloading the latest version. This is particularly important for Windows Vista users, but it's a great idea for everyone to do from time to time. For instructions on this process, check here.

If you don't have any Internet filtering software installed, contact us soon to provide the protection your family needs. And if you're on a Mac, we've got you covered to!

Pricing

Wired PC Guys regular hourly rates and house call charge are still the same as they've been for the last year. What's changed is that we've "productized" a few of our more standard services. These include:

• One Time Data Migration / Backup
• Operating System Install / Reinstallation

Newsletter Frequency

In an attempt to keep up with the extraordinary amount of technical information out there, we're going try sending the Wired PC Guys newsletter twice a month. This will help us keep in better touch with you and make the newsletters a little shorter, while hopefully helping you stay better informed. We will also try to include a couple of links to interesting articles in each newsletter.

Closing Thoughts

We'd be negligent if we didn't remind you to back up your critical data on a regular basis, so consider yourself reminded. There's no time like the present to get yourself started on a regular, automated backup so that you don't lose those pictures, songs, emails, and big school projects in the event of a computer crash. (And the older your computer is, the more you need to backup regularly.)
